Dennis Gannon started working at a family grocery store where his dad was the butcher and his mother was a cashier. Dennis joined the army and rose to the rank of Major. Later, he ran a successful business for years before becoming county executive. As county executive, Jefferson County has experienced significant economic growth including expanding the Port Authority and bringing new businesses and higher paying jobs to Jefferson County.
Dennis Gannon is working with other county executives on a task force on illegal immigration. He opposes any sanctuary cities that protect criminals and any government funding for illegal immigrants.

Dennis Gannon’s Strategic Jobs Initiative aims to recruit jobs away from China and bring them back to Missouri, specifically Jefferson County.
Dennis Gannon has taken on St. Louis City leaders on the City’s lawlessness and rampant violent crime. He opposes defunding the police, and supports greater funding for law enforcement.
When China unleashed COVID in our country, he worked with other leaders to keep Jefferson County open and protect jobs. As a result Jefferson County’s economic and job growth is leading most counties in Missouri.
Dennis Gannon has been able to transform the Jefferson County Port Authority. He was able to secure $25 million in State funding. This funding, along with his efforts, is leading a massive trade center to transport Missouri products from the region across the world.
